The site has two small lakes, trees and open pasture and is surrounded by the gentle fields and hills of East Anglia. Be warned, time really does stand still here! It is surrounded by hedging and is secure. The entrance gate is locked at night. (Because of the deep water lakes, the site is not suitable for children or pets). "Grasslands" is surrounded by the most beautiful parts of Norfolk. World-class bird reserves at Titchwell (Bill Oddie's favourite), Snettisham and Blakeney; sailing from Brancaster Staithe and Hunstanton; the salt marshes of North Norfolk and seal watching from Morston Quay; beautiful sandy beaches at Brancaster, Old Hunstanton and Hunstanton. And… we haven't mentioned the Queen's Estate at Sandringham (5 miles), Thomas Cokes' Holkham Hall (15 miles) and Robert Walpole's Houghton Hall (10 miles).
